Speaking of McCain, MediaMatters.org sent out a great email about how the press is coddling Gramps. They’re going to scrutinize him, sure, yeah, later, they say. Meanwhile, he gets to campaign for a few months and build this ridiculous image as a straight shooter. What crap. The anecdote they tell about the lengths a Time magazine columnist went to protect McCain from a startling gaffe is amazing. It’s probably over at MediaMatters.org. Check it out.
