Here’s Mount Tamalpais again, as seen from the picnic ring at the top of the Seaview Trail in Tilden Park, about 45 minutes before sunset. I think we’re having a mild temperature inversion in which cooler, moister air coming in through the Golden Gate is trapped below a warmer, dryer, and clearer layer up above–meaning that the peaks around the bay were all visible this evening which everything down below swam in a mist.
